By downloading or using Dovely ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use.
The service
Dovely is a local-first baby and pregnancy tracking companion. All data you enter is stored only on your device — see the Privacy Policy for details. Dovely has no user accounts and does not operate a backend service.
Not medical advice
Dovely provides tracking, on-device pattern insights, and educational information (e.g. WHO growth percentiles, pregnancy week-by-week content). It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified pediatrician or healthcare provider for medical questions about your child or pregnancy. Reports generated by Dovely are meant to support — not replace — conversations with your provider.
Dovely Pro (subscriptions & purchases)
Dovely offers an optional Dovely Pro upgrade with three plans: an auto-renewing Annual subscription (with an introductory free trial where offered), an auto-renewing Monthly subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Play account settings — Dovely cannot cancel it for you, since all billing is handled directly by Apple/Google.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies, not by Dovely directly.
Your content
You retain full ownership of everything you enter into Dovely. Because it's stored only on your device, you are solely responsible for backing it up (Settings → Back up everything) — uninstalling the app or losing your device may permanently delete your data.
Acceptable use
Don't use Dovely for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or its purchase system.
No warranty
Dovely is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dovely and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
