Privacy Policy

Dovely is built privacy-first. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. All information you enter — your baby's name, date of birth, due date, feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, photos, notes, pregnancy logs — is stored only on your device using your device's local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). Dovely has no user accounts and no servers that receive your data.

Photos

Photos you add stay on your device, in the app's local storage. They are never uploaded.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, reminders (e.g. next feed, nap window, weekly report) are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content is sent to us or any third party.

Analytics & tracking

Dovely contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not use cookies to track you.

Network

The app functions fully offline and makes no network requests during normal use — on the web, in the browser, or in the native iOS/Android apps. Every asset (including fonts) is bundled with the app; nothing is fetched from us or any third party at runtime. The one exception is the contact form below: if you choose to submit it, your message is sent via Web3Forms, a third-party form-relay service, so it reaches us without your email ever appearing in the app itself.

In-app purchases

Dovely Pro purchases are processed entirely by Apple (StoreKit) or Google (Play Billing). We never see your payment details, and purchase validation happens on-device — no receipt or transaction data is sent to us.

Children's privacy

Dovely is used by parents/caregivers to record information about their child. Because no data ever leaves the device and no account exists, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can export all your data at any time (Settings → Back up everything) and erase everything instantly (Settings → Reset app). Deleting the app removes all data from your device.

Future optional features

If we ever add optional cloud backup, sync, or crash reporting, they will be opt-in, clearly disclosed, and this policy will be updated before they ship.
